Creyos enables healthcare professionals to assess cognitive function related to memory. Individual tasks evaluate visuospatial working memory, spatial short term memory, working memory, and episodic memory.
Four engaging tasks help measure reasoning skills, testing patients in mental rotation, visuospatial processing, deductive reasoning, and planning.
A patient's ability to concentrate is measured in two tasks that test their attention and response inhibition. These cognitive tasks apply hallmarks of established neuropsychological tests like the Stroop.
Healthcare providers are able to assess a patient's verbal ability through tasks that measure their verbal reasoning and verbal short term memory. Versions of these tests have dated back to the 1960s and have a long history of being used in neuropsychological testing.
The full assessment (all 12 cognitive tasks) takes only 35-45 minutes, yet produces results comparable to traditional 2-3 hour professionally administered pen and paper psychological tests.
Tasks are fast, easy and enjoyable, leading to better better participant compliance, and higher completion rates.
Tasks have been shown in numerous published studies to be extremely sensitive to even minor changes in cognition.
